EN55032 will replace EN55013 and EN55022 for multimedia equipment

In February 2014, the European Union issued the latest list of harmonized standards for the EMC Directive. The multimedia equipment will need to comply with the new standards EN55032:2012 and EN 55032:2012/AC:2013 to replace the EN55013:2013 for the original multimedia equipment.

Due to the gradual integration of technology, the functions of information technology equipment and audio and video equipment began to merge, the original single radio interference standard EN 55013:2013 ( Audio and video products) and EN 55022:2010 (information technology equipment) are no longer sufficient.

This standard is mainly based on the reference to EN 55013 and EN 55022 based on the radio disturbance criteria established by the transmission characteristics of the multimedia device itself.
