Kitchen Appliance CE Certification, EN60335-2-14

 

Standard EN 60335-2-14:2006 will be replaced by EN 60335-2-14:2006+A1 on August 1, 2013.

 

EN 60335-2-14 is suitable for the safety of electric and kitchen appliances for household and similar purposes. This standard is a low voltage directive (2006/95/EC) harmonized standard. Kitchen appliances within the scope of the LVD directive must meet the requirements of this standard before they can be affixed with the CE mark.

The united testing can provide consultation and evaluation for your products to ensure that they meet the new standards, and reduce the economic risk.

 

Due to the additional requirements in EN 60335-2-14: 2006 +A1, products evaluated according to EN 60335-2-14: 2006 may no longer meet regulatory or standard requirements.


1). Normal temperature rise test.

2).The product with the feed screw must provide a feed pusher.

When the pusher is in place, the screw cannot be touched by the test finger.

 

EN 60335-2-14:2006+A1+A11 should be used in conjunction with the new general requirements EN 60335-1:2012.

1). The mark specified in the switch should be distinguished from other marks in terms of shape, size, material and position. The tactile feedback or sound and visual feedback must be used to indicate that the product has started working (7.10)

2). Instructions to increase the damage warning about improper use of the product

 5). Test the dangerous moving parts with the test probe 18, exceptions to the features specifically listed in the standard 6 drop test of hand-held appliances
