Why do electric blankets have to be CE certified?

Electric blanket, also known as electric raft, is a contact type electric heating device. It woven or sewn into a blanket in a special snake-like electric heating element with a standard of insulation performance.

When it is energized, it emits heat. It is mainly used to increase the temperature in the bed when people sleep to achieve heating purposes.  Electric blankets are exported to EU countries or sold in EU countries, and must be CE mandatory CE certification/EN60335.

Electric blanket for CE certification/EN60335 materials:

1. Product instruction manual.

2. Safety design documents (including key structural drawings, which are design drawings that reflect the distance, gap, number of insulation layers and thickness).

3. Product technical conditions

4. Product electrical schematic.

5. Product wiring diagram.

6. List of key components or raw materials (please use products with European certification mark).

7. A copy of the complete machine or component certificate.

8. Other required information.
