 According to the national standard for lithium batteries: GB/T18287-2000, the test items for lithium batteries include appearance, discharge performance, high and low temperature performance, charge retention capacity, cycle life; environmental resistance to heat, vibration, collision and free fall. Sex; over-charge protection, over-current protection, short-circuit protection safety; resistance to heavy impact, thermal shock, over-charging, short-circuit safety; storage performance.

The following focuses on the discharge conditions, high and low temperature performance, cycle life and test conditions and standards for overcharge, over discharge and short circuit protection.

1. Discharge performance test, the standard requires charging at a specified charge-discharge rate under the condition of (20 ± 5) °C and discharging to the termination voltage, and the discharge time is not less than the specified value.

2. The high temperature and low temperature performances are tested at (55 ± 2) ° C and (-20 土2)° C [for polymer lithium ion batteries (-10 ± 2) ° C], and the battery is taken out after the end of the experiment. Under the condition of ambient temperature (20 ± 5) °C for 2h, the appearance of the battery should be free from deformation and cracking.

3. The cycle life requirement is to charge and terminate the voltage at 1C5A at ambient temperature (20 ± 5) °C, and then hold the next charge and discharge cycle after 0.5-1h, until the discharge time is less than 36min. It is considered that the end of life, the cycle life of the battery should be no less than 300 times.

4. For over-charging, over-discharging and short-circuit protection, the battery is required to not explode, ignite, smoke or leak under the specified operating conditions.
