02. Certification requirements

When entering the US market, 2.4Ghz wireless products must apply for FCC certification by means of FCC ID, such as wireless mouse and Bluetooth products. Relevant test reports must also be published on the official website of FCC for inquiry.

The FCC PART 15 specification specifies the test requirements for products operating in the frequency range of 2.4-2.4835 Ghz; the main reference standards are 15.247 and 15.249 (both in a side-by-side relationship, 15.249 for low power devices).
