The Saudi Standards group, the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization, announced that it would begin enforcing the new IECEE certification for the nine products listed below on February 15.Within the new requirement to control products in addition to product conformity certificate required to obtain a clearance outside the CoC, traders still need to apply directly to the SASO in advance and obtain the IECEE certificate, the goods can be smooth customs clearance in Saudi Arabia.

    The 9 categories of products under the new regulation are as follows:

    Mobile phones;

    Mobile chargers and parts Mobile phone charger and accessories;

    Batteries (Mobile Phones, Cars);

    Lighting products;

    Water pumps;

    Electric motors motors;

    Dishwashers dishwasher.

    Televisions;

    Laptops.
