C-Tick certification

C - tick certification

C-tick authentication concept

A/c-tick is A certification mark for Communications equipment issued by the Australian Communications Authority (ACA).Manufacturers and importers must follow the next step in using A-Tick: :

1. Product implementation ACAQ technical standard test

2. Register the use of A/C-Tick to ACA

3. Fill in the Declaration of Conformity Form and keep the product with the record

4, in communication products or equipment with A/C - the identity of the Tick marks (label) 5, sales to consumers A - Tick only applies to communication products, electronic products, mostly apply C - Tick, but electronic products if the application is A - Tick, do not need to apply for the C - other Tick.Since November 2001, EMI in Australia/New Zealand has applied for a merger; If the product is to be sold in the two countries, the following documents must be in place before marketing, in case the authorities of the Australian Communications Authority or the Ministry of Economic Development check in at any time.Spot check item

1. Test report - must be made available by NATA or an accredited certification body of NATA, such as NVLAP or A2LA approved laboratories, otherwise the probability of sample delivery is very high.2. "Application to use the c-tick Mark" Form - must be signed by the Australian/New Zealand company or the importer.

3. "Supplier's Declaration of Conformity" Form - must be signed by Australian/New Zealand company or importer. The manufacturer of the signature is responsible for ensuring that the products sold are still in accordance with the EMI regulations.

4. Original design drawings and specifications (e.g. wiring diagrams, block diagrams, User's Manual and Service Manual, etc.).

5. Describe the production inspection procedures in production to ensure the maintenance of EMI characteristics.6. Any change statement and necessary test record that will affect EMI.

C-tick certification cycle:

1-2 weeks c-tick certification of three levels of products

Australia's EMC system divides the product into three levels, and the supplier must register in the ACA and apply for the c-tick logo before the sales level ii and level 3 products.

Grade one product refers to the use of wireless spectrum devices to interfere with low-emission products such as manual switches, simple relays, one-way squirrel cage inductors, resistance, etc.For a product of level one, the supplier must sign a conformance statement and provide product description.Level of a product may voluntarily apply for C - Tick marks, but after supplier in choose to use this flag, when providing conformance statement and description of the book at the same time, also provide compliance records, to show that the products have been described in a statement is in conformity with the relevant EMC standards. The test site is not required to allow internal testing.

Level 2 products refer to devices that use the wireless spectrum to interfere with high radiation products such as switching power, welder, dimmers, and most household appliances.Suppliers in addition to providing the product description must be signed conformance statement and books, but also provide test report according to related standards, if there is no related standards, you will need to provide technical file structure, test site does not make the request, allow internal testing.

Level 3 products refer to products with high radiation exposure to the wireless spectrum, namely CISPR11 and CISPR22.At present, the communication terminal products are still included in this range, but from November 7, 2003, the terminal products will be divided into level two products. In addition to the declaration of conformity and product description, the supplier shall provide test reports issued by accredited testing institutions. The quality management system certificate issued by QSM certification body is also required.C-tick marks C-Tick marks

The c-tick sign must be labeled with the information of the Australian supplier, so that ACA can be effectively traced back to the supplier responsible for the product in the market. The identity of the information includes four aspects:

1.Name and address of Australian supplier.

2.Australian Company Number 3.The number given by ACA to the Australian supplier.

4.Australian registered trademark used in the Australian market.C-tick sequence tag

Radio communications equipment or special electrical and electronic devices must comply with the relevant labeling requirements, otherwise they cannot be sold or supplied to Australia

The c-tick is a sequential label that applies to The material items covered by The label

1. Radio communication (sequential label with launch). Brief description of the arrangement in accordance with EMC adjustment

2. Radio equipment (order label) notice No. 1 1996 to show the arrangement of the compliance adjustment of radio communications

3. Radio communication (sequence labeling - electromagnetic radiation) in 2003, brief introduction to EMR adjustment arrangement

Under the EMC adjustment arrangement, it is necessary to put a sequence label on the product before it can be supplied to Australia. It is also the order label of non-radio products that must be consistent with electromagnetic radiation (EMR) rules.

For telecommunication products, EMR is covered by A-Tick sequence tag.

C-tick ordering label must have supplier information that can identify the supplier. This information may be taken by supplier code issued by the ACA, the Australian company number or detail in the related tags notice other forms, can be in ACA website for more information on using the C - Tick mark.
